SPONSORS OF REGIONAL FOCUS

PROACTIVE AND STRATEGIC COLLABORATION

NOF Energy is also a proactive collaborator and has established relationships with a number of strategic partners to ensure members have access to in-depth and highly-relevant industry information, contacts and opportunities.

Partnerships have been forged with business support and sector-specific organisations across the globe in South America, North America and Canada, Europe, and the Far East.

SUBSTANTIAL GROWTH

The network has grown substantially in the last three years in terms of both members and contacts, which has led to more than £140 million worth of additional business being won by members with the help of NOF Energy.

Some of these contract wins have been as a result of the newly-formed alliances between members thanks to over 2,200 member-to-member introductions during that period. In addition, partnership agreements between members are being entered into as a means of increasing their chances of winning new business.

Joanne explains: “These partnerships are being forged at many of the NOF Energy networking events that take place throughout the year, at exhibitions where we have a presence with and on behalf of our membership, as well as through our excellent member-to-member referral service.”

ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Offshore renewables will be high on the agenda at NOF Energy’s 2nd annual conference, which takes place in the North East of England in March 2012.

Focused on the role the supply chain has to play in ensuring a balanced energy future, the conference takes place at the Hilton Hotel, Gateshead on 7 March.

“Leading executives from across the energy sectors will come together at the conference to highlight the need for a multi-skilled, integrated supply chain who can easily move with them to the new emerging energy sectors,” said Joanne.

“The formation of Energi Coast and the cross-sector capabilities of its members demonstrate that the North East of England has the skills, products and services meet these demands and play a key role in achieving a balanced energy future.”
