ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Based in Kingston Upon Hull, InterTech’s new head office was completed to strict guidelines regarding energy efficiency, including the fitting of timer switches, movement and daylight sensors to lights, fitting flow restrictors to hot water taps and upgrading boiler controls, installing energy efficient lamps, fitting movement sensors to turn off equipment such as printers and copiers. In addition they have installed a vertical wind turbine, solar photovoltaic panels and an internal rainwater harvest system.
INTERTECHFILM – HEAD OFFICE AND SUSTAINABILITY SHOWROOM InterTech approached Classlane to produce a film highlighting the careful attention to environmental and technological and climate change they have given to building when designing their new headquarters. The film delivers complex messages quickly and is easily digested by the viewer.
