Battlefield tours and

programs are available to corporate groups in Gettysburg, PA

The Gettysburg Foundation, in partnership with the National Park Service, was formed to enhance the preservation and understanding of the heritage and lasting significance of Gettysburg and its national parks. Facility rentals of the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center and also the Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad Station are available through the foundation for private events, parties, receptions, conferences, meetings and more.

The Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center is a well- appointed 139,000-square foot building that is one of only four LEED Gold Certified museum facilities in the country, featuring public and private meeting spaces with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and a host of additional amenities.

The Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad Station™ is where Abraham Lincoln arrived more than 150 years ago to deliver his Gettysburg Address, and it can serve as the perfect venue from which groups of up to 165 can gather to celebrate a wed- ding, anniversary or retirement, or ignite new business opportunities through a net- working or business development event.

Groups also may want to visit the Gettysburg Battlefield. They can reserve a Licensed Battlefield Guide, take a bus tour, or tour on their own using a CD or field guide book from the Museum Bookstore. Each Park Ranger program and tour with a Licensed Battlefield Guide is always unique, as different rangers and guides offer different perspectives on the battle. The National Park Service recom- mends a minimum of four-hours to tour the battlefield. In addition, there is no fee to enter the park, Soldiers’ National Cemetery or park buildings.

“I feel assured I shall never feel horrified at anything that may happen to me here-after.”
