Capriccio Italian Restaurant at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, NJ

Resorts Casino Resorts Casino director of sales and marketing, Bill Jackson, urges meeting planners to consider Capriccio, its gourmet Italian restaurant, as a meet- ing venue. “It can be reserved in its entirety Monday through Saturday for breakfast and lunch events, and Sunday through Wednesday evenings for up to 150 meeting guests.”

R

Jim Wood, president/CEO of Meet AC, is very enthusias- tic about his resort destination. “When you complement the overall structure of a meeting with the beach as an off-site venue, the atmosphere is amazing. People are lit- erally blown away. Attitude and mood are elevated. Being outdoors on the beach and hearing waves crash on the shore is a tremendous sensation. Networking is enriched, enthusiasm increased, and social media explodes. People love to pose on the beach, write their hometown in the sand and post it for thousands to see.”

Just a few of many recent Atlantic City improvement projects include: the re-opening of the Claridge as a Radisson hotel, which has been fully restored to reflect its historic architecture; Borgata Hotel and Casino’s addi- tions of an outdoor swimming pool, beer garden, eatery and nightclub; and Harrah’s Atlantic City’s $250 million Waterfront Conference Center. The facility, the largest convention center/hotel complex from Baltimore to Boston, can be utilized by over 5,000 attendees.

Another champion of Atlantic City’s beaches is Bill Jackson, director of sales and marketing for Resorts Atlantic City Casino Hotel. “There are so many activities available, such as beach and water Olympics, surfing contests and beach volleyball. Or individuals can just rest in the fresh air between sessions.”

Resorts offers 24 meeting rooms, 14 of which boast nat- ural light and ocean views. The hotel’s Conference Level has 17 meeting and function rooms, while its Tower Conference Level houses four conference rooms, com- plete with ocean or skyline views. Then there is Resorts’ casino, a free, no-tags-required beach, the boardwalk, and nearby nightclubs and restaurants.
