A Holiday Inn Express is opening this year adjacent to the Outlet Shoppes of Gettysburg. This 90-room hotel will provide guests an up-close opportunity to shop at the outlet mall’s 70 stores as well as access to restaurants and a movie theater.


Two new “escape rooms” have opened in Gettysburg this spring – 1863 Escape and Escape Gettysburg. Each features a variety of rooms for participants to solve their way out with a series of puzzles and clues. Escape rooms are great for meeting groups as team building exercises.


Also coming this year is Thirsty Farmer Brew Works – a brew pub located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Fruit Belt. This brewery will feature local ingredients along with an assortment of craft beer.
