The center’s flexible floor plan features 75,000-square feet of exhibition quarters, which are easily divided into two areas, an expansive ballroom, also fabricated to split into two or three event rooms, and 8,675-square feet of adaptable meet- ing space. Additional highlights at the center include an oceanfront deck, expansive lobby, 7,000-seat main hall and an entire boardwalk/beach extension.


“What makes the convention center so uniquely appealing is not only its Atlantic Ocean proximity, but our beaches, too, which are among the most beau- tiful on the eastern seaboard,” exclaims John Lynch, director of sales and enter- tainment for the Wildwoods Convention Center. “During breaks, folks can chill on the beach or crab and fish on the back of the island. The boardwalk shops, amusements and restaurants are open April through October, and our staff, as well as the entire community, are here to do whatever we can to ensure return bookings. We live here and know the Wildwoods like the backs of our hands.”


A recent example of the whole town coming together occurred in April when Atlantic Coast Wrestling held “War at the Shore,” a tournament for elementary and middle school boys and girls. The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce got involved and mounted an invigorating event for more than 6,000 people. The Family Fun Night and Bonfire on the beach was a sensational hit. Wrestlers, parents and relatives enjoyed music and shared games, food and a
