Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center opened its highly-anticipated RiverView Ballroom this May,
becoming the fifth ballroom at the resort. The expansion project will serve as the premier event venue in the Washington, DC Capital Region, offering 16,000-square feet of column-free, unobstructed panoramic views of the Potomac River.
Dubbed the area’s first infinity ballroom, attendees will feel as if they are floating on top of the river when looking out its 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows. The venue offers two outdoor terraces equaling 10,000- square feet, as well as cutting-edge technology, impeccable service, custom culinary menus and unique views.
RiverView Ballroom is designed to provide a new option for attendees that is separate from Gaylord National’s main meeting hub, while still providing the same level of service and meeting expertise for which Gaylord Hotels is known.
With the addition of the ballroom, Gaylord National now offers more than 500,000-square feet of flexible meet- ing space on-site. The hotel remains the largest non-gaming resort and convention center on the East Coast.
Hershey Resorts - Hershey, PA
Hershey Entertainment and Resorts® has recently added some offerings to its portfolio. Hershey Lodge is opening a new restaurant - Fire & Grain - in May 2017. In addition, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts also is opening MeltSpa by Hershey, a new day spa, in downtown Hershey, PA this coming fall.
Hershey Resorts’ meetings and conventions collectively offers more than 125,000-square feet of function space to go along with more than 900 guestrooms between the Hershey Lodge, The Hotel Hershey and Hershey Country Club.
Less than a year ago, Hershey Lodge opened Hershey's Water Works - an innovative indoor swimming pool complex. The theming of the facility includes Hershey's Characters and elements reflecting The Boardwalk at Hersheypark. The facility includes: two indoor swimming pools, Twizzlers® Twists Slides, Reese's® Water Walk, water play structure, outdoor splash pad, a fitness center, arcade, whirlpool and bathroom/locker rooms. The Cocoa Cabana dining location also is located at Hershey's Water Works, which includes a full bar and wait staff.
Fire & Grain will be a contemporary American restaurant that will feature an open kitchen. Additional dining options at Hershey Lodge include Hershey Grill Kitchen + Bar, and The Bears’ Den and The Forebay restaurants.
The MeltSpa by Hershey day spa will be located in the heart of downtown Hershey and will offer a wide range of spa services, including exclusive Hershey’s Signature Dark Chocolate treatments and nine treat- ment rooms.
