Valley Forge and Montgomery County, PA cultivates meetings and conventions by assuring that it is a destination of “Revolutionary Events,” big and small. Beyond the details of agendas and speakers, however, the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board (VFTCB) employs a full portfolio of brands to engage attendees before, during and after a meeting.


Back in 2013, the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board underwent a transformative rebranding. The organization crafted a new mission statement, revised its marketing and sales strate- gies, and redesigned everything from its website to its logo.


Once that new identity was established, the VFTCB set out to deepen it by developing a whole portfolio of brands. For meet- ings and convention planners, the Revolutionary Events brand (valleyforge.org/meetings) was created to enable business travel- ers to:


Take advantage of finely appointed hotels and meeting facilities


Reduce expenses by choosing a location that offers an appreciable value proposition


Offload administrative details to an experienced, hands- on VFTCB staff


Augment the agenda with interesting off-sites or team building opportunities


Extend the stay to explore local history, nature, arts, adventure, dining and nightlife
