Tropicana Atlantic City features 2,047 hotel rooms and is home of The Quarter, a 200,000-square foot entertainment complex. With 24 restaurants, 25 shops, 18 bars and lounges, two swimming pools, an IMAX Theatre and a spa, Tropicana has completed over $90 million in renovations since 2015, including the addition of its spectacular Multimedia Light and Sound Show, the addition of AtlantiCare LifeCenter Fitness, renovations to over 900 hotel rooms, its casino and more.
“Every summer we look for more ways to enhance our prop- erty and the overall guest experience,” said Steve Callender, general manager of Tropicana Atlantic City. “By bringing back some of our favorites and introducing our new and innova- tive amenities, this summer is sure to be one of Tropicana’s best.”
Part of those offerings is the recent opening of three new restaurants by Iron Chef Jose Garces - Olón, Bar Olón and Okatshe – which feature impeccably designed spaces with unique environments that transport guests to a Japanese streetscape, seafront coastal town or beachside beer bar. At Olón, every seat has sweeping ocean and boardwalk views. On the perfect summer day, seating is available outside on the deck overlooking the beach.
The property’s newly renovated Seaside Cafe is in a new loca- tion in the Marketplace, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night menus. The Fiesta Buffet also is being fully reno- vated with new flooring, wall treatments, a new entrance and more. Both of these renovations are expected to be complet- ed by Memorial Day Weekend of 2017.
Boogie Nights, Tropicana’s ‘70s and ‘80s themed dance club, is celebrating its five-year anniversary, and to commemorate this milestone, the venue is getting a facelift that will include a new, expanded dance floor, additional bar with more com- munal seating, exclusive bottle service experience, and more. This renovation is slated for completion by mid-June of 2017.
