you very little but will provide opportunity to rekindle or build on new relationships – as well as check client skin needs and review product options.
Apply or offer free use of make- up or primer at the end of every skin treatment so clients leave with a glow. A free five minute hand massage with a sample of hand cream softens not only the hands but any unforeseen waiting time during busy periods in a day.
It is a season of giving, give and hopefully get back in the form of another name in the appointment book.
So turn on those fairy lights – it’s not too late to have a final push and maximise on seasonal trade. What is most important is recognising what works in December and what can be transferred to the other 11 months of the year. After all, we cannot rely on one successful month to carry us through. Our customers deserve the best and should witness our business in glorious technicolour, whatever time of year.
Merry Christmas from us all at Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute!
Jacquie Slater is the Corporate Trainer for IDI and Dermalogica.
