Brief Bridal make-over Jane Iredale’s UK visit
Jane Iredale, founder of the mineral make-up range, hosted a breakfast presentation for a select group of journalists, bloggers and influencers at The Met Space at Metropolitan by COMO in London recently. Following an introduction from iiaa’s jane iredale®
brand manager Danielle Bookatz, Jane explained the concept
behind the #itonlytakesaminute campaign and introduced the new season’s products including the Spritz and Sparkle collection.

brand ambassador Nimue Skin Technology has appointed supermodel Helena Christensen as Brand Ambassador.
Helena has been an iconic face in fashion and beauty for 30 years, as well as carving a career as a photographer and businesswoman.

Green choices
US magazine Women’s Health has highlighted the most ‘green’ ways to shop the beauty aisles this Christmas, listing jane iredale PurePressed Base and Compact as their choice for refillable containers. Other eco suggestions from the magazine included avoiding microbeads, choosing brands that make recycling easy, using products that are water-conscious, and checking labelling for Ecocert, Cradle to Cradle, Fair Trade Certified, or Rainforest Alliance accreditation.
Christmas retail
on the rise Consumer research specialists Mintel estimates that total UK retail sales will grow 2.5% this month to reach £42.2 billion. Research reveals that salons with an e- commerce facility will be in demand with as many as one in five (20%) Brits planning to shop online more for Christmas 2016, rising to 24% of men and 28% of 16-24 year olds. The top three reasons why Brits shopped online for gifts last year were to get cheaper prices (55%), to avoid the crowds (49%) and to shop when it suited them (49%).
