business2business CACI report strong

export sales CACI International have reported an increase in export sales following the UK’s vote to leave the EU.

The company attribute this rise as salons and Spas clamour to buy ‘Made in Britain’ products and take advantage of the favourable exchange rates, as the value of the pound fell against the dollar as a consequence of the upcoming Brexit.

In the past three months, customer demand has been particularly strong with CACI clients from Australia, Canada, India, Mauritius, Lebanon, Dubai, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Switzerland and the Netherlands all taking advantage of the affordability to purchase CACI’s technology.

Throughout the month of January, salons and therapists will offer their time for free giving people in need a little pamper, whether that’s a hand massage, a mini makeover, or pedicure.

Therapists and salons who would like to get involved should contact Look Good Feel Fab at www.lookgoodfeelfab.com

Breaking ground on new HQ

Work has begun on Sweet Squared’s new Head Office in Leeds, a project which is set to take around 11 months to complete. The new HQ will see the company’s warehouse facilities come together with offices, trade store and education space.

Sweet Squared Co-founders Samuel and Samantha Sweet were on site when work commenced.

“For five years we have been looking for a new place to call home for our S2 family but nothing has fit our requirements which are pretty unique,” says Samantha. “This year we finally found our new home in the form of a plot of land in Seacroft, Leeds. The next seven months will be the actual new build and then about three to four months for a bespoke fit-out.

“Our new purpose built home will unite our offices, store, education and warehouse facilities and our expanding Sweet Squared family. [We have] officially broke ground and are very proud and humbled to start this new chapter in our S2 journey to ‘Serve the Pro with Love & Respect!’”
