is there for her/him to see. I know it doesn’t sound like a glamorous location, but a poster in the toilet will work a treat either on the back of the door or perhaps in a decorative frame by the wash basin.
• BROW STROKE MICRO BLADING
ILAH Brows, winners of the Beauty Innovations Award 2014, have introduced a revolutionary new Eyebrow treatment. A new form of eyebrow embroidery that mimics the natural hair form. This procedure can last anything from three to five years. The service is a semi permanent make-up for eyebrows and requires a consultation followed by two treatments. This service is suitable for anyone looking to add definition to their eyebrows, fill in gaps or even reconstruct an entire eyebrow. The end result is so natural no-one will ever know the hairs are not real.
We provide on-site training where possible and a complete kit with over £400 worth of stock.
Maximum four people in any one class to ensure the best training.
• SUPER BROW STROKES PIGMENTS The traditional eyebrow pigments fade generally too fast. Therefore, it is recommended to use the Super Brow Strokes pigments. Pigments are colourfast. Brown is guaranteed not to turn red or grey.
£1,200 including kit
XL-Blond Ash blonde colour for natural look.
XL-Mahogany
Warm brown color and it can be applied between pigmented hairs, if the eyebrows turn too gray.
You would also be well advised to place a poster in each treatment room, either on the wall at the foot of the couch so when your client sits up she/he will see it immediately or in a frame near to the chair they may use to sit on before and after the treatment. If you have a good relationship with local related businesses, they may even allow you to put a poster or leave leaflets in their businesses to spread the word further.
Special offer - Offer an introductory offer for perhaps the first month to encourage clients to try the new treatment. Depending on the nature of the new treatment, you could perhaps pair it with another treatment for free – for example if you are introducing a new facial you could offer a free back massage with it as this is very inexpensive for you to do. You could perhaps offer a second treatment for half price, or a course of treatments at a special introductory price.
Open evening - Not only is an open evening or open day a great way to thank loyal clients for their custom and create a bit of a stir, but it is also the perfect opportunity – whilst you have a captive audience – to demonstrate your new treatment so people can see first-hand how fantastic it is. Again, you could offer a special promotion on the treatment to those who book at the event.
Answerphone message - Re-record your outgoing message at the salon, or on your mobile phone if you are an independent mobile therapist, to advertise the new treatment briefly. This is something you could do on a monthly basis to advertise any promotions or events you have coming up.
Leaflets - Leaflets are effective whatever the nature of your business. Whether you are a high street salon, a freelance therapist renting a room somewhere or a mobile therapist, leaflets are an effective way to promote a new treatment to both current and potential clients.
They are a good way of advertising the new treatment to a whole target area by doing a leaflet drop. While I appreciate leaflet drops can be very time consuming and tedious they are an effective, and fairly economical way of getting your message out as all you need are your feet, time and some leaflets – which can be produced for very little with many web-based printing sites.
XL-Brown Creates beautiful dark eyebrow hairs.
However, please don’t be disheartened if you are not flooded with responses straight away. It is said that you need to reach your potential market in seven different ways, so each form of marketing and advertising you do reinforces the last and keeps reminding people who you are and what you do.
Almost Brown Deep dark pigment for dark hair and dark look.
E-newsletter - If you have your clients’ email addresses you can very easily put together an e-newsletter focusing on your new treatment to email out to them all. The great thing about this is that it is entirely free to produce and send! E-newsletters are a great way of interacting with your clients on a regular basis – they are also a particularly useful tool to remind the clients you haven’t seen in a while that you are still here.
Really do put a lot of thought and planning into introducing your new treatment – that way it will be a great success. Good luck!
Almost Black Almost black pigment, only for dark skin.
