Miss England, Natasha Hemming, prepared to head to China to compete for the title of Miss World in December, and Angel Eyes were delighted to prep her lashes and brows ahead of the competition.

Natasha was also keen to try Angel Eyes’ latest product line, Angel Brows which includes brow shaping, a make-up brow kit and brow pencil designed to create a stylish, sculptured brow look.

Dermalogica in FITE for women’s rights

In November’s issue we reported how Dermalogica had joined forces with the film Suffragette in defence of women’s rights across the world. In support of this, the brand held a private London screening attended by competition winners and over 200 Dermalogica stockists, press and bloggers.

The film tells the true story of the British women who inspired the world and risked everything in the fight for equality. This partnership between FITE – Dermalogica’s initiative to support female entrepreneurs across the globe – and Suffragette helped to raise awareness of Dermalogica’s initiative in the UK.

The screening was hosted by Jane Wurwand, Founder and Chief Visionary for Dermalogica and FITE; Helen Pankhurst, Great Granddaughter of Suffragette, Emmeline Pankhurst; Michelle Nicholson, founder of women’s support network KeyChanges; and panel chair, Suzy Greaves, Editor of Physiologiesmagazine.

After the film, the panellists spoke about women’s rights and empowerment, how far women have come and how much work there is still left to do. “We need to remember that we all stand on the shoulders of giants. This is why it’s important that we make our voices heard and we speak the truth,” Jane said.
