spa news Good Spa Guide announces winners Record breakers

It’s been a year of success for The Spa at The Midland; following the launch of the luxury Spa in June, they scooped four prestigious awards in the 2015 Spa Traveller awards, as well as being given a ‘Five Bubble’ rating from The Good Spa Guide.

The Manchester-based Spa took home the awards for ‘Best City Spa Break’, ‘Best City Spa Day’, ‘Best Hotel Spa’ and ‘Best New/Refurbished City Spa’.

Eden Hall won the ‘Best Spa for Sociable Spa-ing’ award.

The Good Spa Guide has announced the winners of the UK’s Best Spas in its sixth annual ceremony.

Hosted in association with Decléor, the awards attracted over 50,000 public votes for their eight Regional Award winners.

The eight National Award winners were decided by specially appointed Good Spa ‘Spies’ that review over 100 Spas every year, completing a detailed audit sheet after their visit.

East Midland’s Day Spa Eden Hall were awarded the title of ‘Best Spa for Sociable Spa- ing’, as well as collecting a ‘Five Bubble’ rating of excellence.

Set in a listed mansion in rural Nottinghamshire, Eden Hall has luxury facilities including thermal water supplies, a salt-water vitality swimming pool, hot tubs and herbal steam room and sauna, complemented with the use of products from leading names such as Spa Find, Clarins and Elemis.

More success followed, as SenSpa at Careys Manor took home their fourth consecutive win at the awards, leaving with the title of the ‘Best Spa in the South East’.

Spa Director Lina Lotto spoke of their excitement, saying: “We constantly strive to offer the best service and new innovative treatments by highly trained therapists and are extremely pleased to be recognised for these achievements.”

Announcing the winners, founder of The Good Spa Guide, Daphne Metland congratulated all of the Spas involved in this year’s awards. “We are lucky to have some fantastic Spas in the UK and all of our winners and finalists deserve recognition for their dedication to providing the highest possible Spa experience for their guests,” she told us.

Success for EF Medispa

Congratulations are in order as EF Medispa celebrate their award win for the ‘Best Health and Beauty Facility in London’, as awarded to them at the London Lifestyle Awards.

It has been an exciting 12 months for the brand, as it recently opened the doors to their Drip & Chill Lounge in London’s Canary Wharf. It makes the fourth Medispa within the EF Medispa portfolio, and the brand is continuing to expand across the UK.

Speaking of the award, EF Medispa founder Esther Fieldgrass said: “As these awards are nominated and voted for by Londoners and clients rather than the industry, it’s an honour for our approach and service to be recognised against such high profile premium London Spas, clinics and salons.”
