In addition, the company are relaunching with new lower prices across their entire range of beauty and Spa uniforms.
“We hope these new low prices will entice more therapists to try out a Diamond Designs Uniform and we are confident that once they wear a Diamond they won’t revert to a inferior uniform,” says marketing manager Aisling Kavanagh.
The relaunched website features new functionality to make it easier than ever to purchase and review your favourite uniform.
Essie Professional launch first Nail Bar
Guild News were invited to check out the first Essie Professional Nail Bar which opened up in the Leeds House of Fraser in November.
Positioned in the heart of the shopping district, this exciting bar showcases the brand’s manicure services alongside its vast range of retail products. Customers can shop from any of their 177 nail shades, plus buy seasonal collections and treatments to promote healthy nails. Manicures are also available on drop in, performed by one of their three newly trained professional nail technicians.
Treatments available include the File and Paint service which lasts 15-20 minutes, Manicure with Essie Spa and Essie Polish which lasts for 30 minutes, and their Gel Manicure, using the ultra-glossy
Essie.Gel polish, lasting around 45 minutes.
Monica Teodoro, General Manager for Essie Professional UK told GN: “We are all very excited about bringing the Essie professional brand and professional services to the consumer in this way. We hope that it will really extend awareness for the brand and also capture the imagination of customers.”
Lumenis expands portfolio
Medical device manufacturer Lumenis Ltd has acquired medical aesthetic developer Pollogen Ltd.

MUA Celena Hancock creates one of four seasonal looks using High Definition make-up.
Celebrity MUAs create seasonal looks
Clients at the Benito Brow Bar in Debenhams Birmingham can now choose from four stunning make-up looks, created by High Definition make-up artists Kristina Theodoris and Celena Hancock.
To celebrate the collaboration between High Definition (formerly HD Brows) and the Benito Brow Bar, four seasonal looks – all of which were created using High Definition make-up – have been showcased in a photo shoot, which took place at The Secret Warehouse in Liverpool.
“We were thrilled to work on the four key looks for the Benito Brow Bar concession,” say the make-up brand. “The photoshoot was made even more special with the involvement of two of our favourite celebrity MUAs, Celena Hancock and Kristina Theodoris. Our aim is to offer a range of looks and styles that will appeal to all tastes, making it the perfect one-stop destination for all types of clients’ make-up and brow needs.”
There are currently 35 Benito Brow Bars throughout the country and the exciting collaboration is the first of its kind for High Definition.
