Meet The Press - Harley Style!
The Committee of the Costa Blanca España Harley Davidson Biker Group extended an invitation to representatives from the ex-pat press to accompany them to the Make A Smile Relleu Project on Sunday to see the work being carried out to make this Emaús project self sufficient.
‘The Meet The Press’ day was attended by Female Focus, The Post, Costa Blanca News and Euro Weekly News with some of these guests (see photo top right) being transported to Relleu on the back of Harley Davidson motorcycles. Over 30 bikes arrived at the project to a cheering welcome from the Make A Smile team. The weather stayed fine throughout, the food served to guests was superb (thanks to The BBQ Shop in Calpe), the entertainment courtesy of Niamh O’Sheehan and Gatecrash was rocking and Tony, Lucy and all the Make A Smile support staff really did their visitors proud, as they do the youngsters who so depend on their support. Peter Emmett, Press Officer for the Costa Blanca España Group said, ‘Our members are totally committed to supporting Tony and Make A Smile throughout 2015 and it was a humbling experience to see just how much effort has and is being put in to improve the lives of those youngsters who call the project at Relleu their home’.
