English Rose Fulfils Harley Dream
A recent chance meeting with the press officer for the local Harley Davidson biker group saw 80 year old Rose Oldham from Hyde in Greater Manchester fulfil one of her bucket list dream experiences.
Unbeknown to Rose, and with the help of her daughter Denise and son-in-law Keith, Rose was set up at a local cafe bar on Thursday by Peter Emmett from the Costa Blanca España Group and taken for a 1 hour ride on his Harley Davidson Electraglide motorcycle. Readers take note that her last bucket list achievement was a parachute jump with the Red Devils in aid of Help for Heroes!!
On arriving back from the ride out, Rose was further surprised by a large gathering of friends which culminated in a birthday lunch at Kosta Restaurant in Moraira to celebrate her forthcoming 81st birthday.
Rose said, ‘What an experience and I did not want it to end. Peter also played Glenn Miller music for me throughout the ride which was magical’.
