On Wednesday 1st April, the band members of Los Jubilados donated 1,642.50€ to Cancer Care, Javea. They were playing a “gig” at Ca La Queka in Els Poblets continuing to raise funds for Cancer Care. The “boys” have raised this amazing amount over the last few months, playing in various bars for free and asking the customers for donations to Cancer Care. Generous “boys” who give up their free time and generous customers who donate to Cancer Care. Thank you also to the bars who encouraged customers to come to listen to the music.

The April Emaus Association euro a month prize giving took place at the Emaus headquarters in Altea recently. The photo shows the lucky winner and euro a month donator Caroline Bell from Teulada being presented with the new smartphone by Telitec business and promotions manager Gemma Broad and Emaus president Montserrat Fiter. Torrevieja Anglican Chaplaincy May Fair
This year the Torrevieja Anglican Chaplaincy May Fair 2015 takes place in the grounds and gardens of the La Siesta Church Centre on Saturday 9th May between 10.30am and 1.30pm.
For those who are not familiar with the location of the La Siesta Church Centre it is on Calle Granados, Urb La Siesta (opposite the FLAMINGO Aqua Park).
