Energy Healing .... What is it?

Our bodies are composed of trillions of cells, which make up the human body. These cells, when broken down into their smallest components, show that we are actually composed of a ‘quantum’ amount of energy. This energy is arranged in systems and when these are out of balance due to the stresses and strains of everyday living then the body can show these imbalances as disease or illness.

Energy healing is a therapy that works directly on the energy systems to help realign them and activate the person’s own healing ability within the body. The therapist works on the energy systems that surround the body to unblock and balance any areas of energy congestion.

There are various types of energy healing:

Reiki: where the hands are laid on the certain areas of the body to stimulate the healing energy.

Sacred touch healing: where the therapist works slightly above the body in the biomagnetic field or ‘aura’ that surrounds and interpenetrates the body and crystal healing: crystals are laid on the body where required.

All therapies work on the same principle of harmonising the mind and body, clearing energy blockages and activating the body’s own innate healing power so that it can start to heal itself.

AS ALL DISEASES OR ILLNESSES IN THE BODY ARE DUE TO AN IMBALANCE OF ENERGY OF SOME KIND, ENERGY HEALING WILL HELP IMPROVE MOST CONDITIONS.
