BERRY HEAD HOTEL - BRIXHAM
Brixham is geared to fishing, both for pleasure & commercial purposes; the Brixham Heritage Museum has the story of fishing throughout the ages. To taste the local catch try one of the town’s cafés or restaurants. Another of Brixham’s maritime attractions is a life-size replica of Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hind go on board to find out what it was like on a galleon in Sir Francis’ time.
Brixham is home to several festivals including Fishstock, the Heritage Festival, Trawler Races, Brixham Pirate and Shanty Festival, Pirate Days, a regatta and Brixham Hapnin. Just in case you think it’s all about fish, the summer Cowtown Festival celebrates the town’s agricultural side.
For comfort & food excellence THE BERRY HEAD HOTEL is set in a superb waterside position enjoying spectacular views of the English Riviera. This elegant 3 star hotel is set in six acres of grounds, but is only a short walk to the fish quay & town. Enjoy beautiful views from the A la Carte and Terrace Bar Restaurants, then retire to your comfortable en-suite bedroom. There is an indoor swimming pool, and ample parking.

For nature lovers, nearby Berry Head is a National Nature Reserve and gateway site for the UNESCO-supported English Riviera Global Geopark, while the South West Coast Path offers breath- taking walks with vast colonies of seabirds, stunning views and a lighthouse being the smallest and most elevated in the UK. A short walk past the harbour towards Berry Head are some fine beaches, many being small and pebbled, but St Mary’s Bay has a large sandy beach, with an adjacent swimming pool, plus shop and facilities. To the east of the town is the Berry Head Country Park.
