starting to become well known in music circles, so when Bass Clef Productions, the biggest concert promotion outfit in town, came calling, it was a no-brainer. Dennis took the job and became Ottawa’s top concert promoter. While that might seem like a


giant leap, Dennis approached the job with an interesting philosophy. He says “The difference between booking clubs and 20,000-seaters is just adding more zeroes to it in terms of the financial end. But the basics are the same. You buy the artist, you do the promotion, you set up the shows and you sell tickets.” On one night Bass Clef might
