Pub Italia owner Joe Cotroneo’s cool garage that was literally overflowing with vintage Italian cars, signs, posters, and tons of collectables. So, when Joe called me up one night to tell me that he had put an addition on his garage to accommodate the 25 vintage Italian motorcycles he had recently acquired, I jumped at the opportunity to return for another photo shoot. It turned out that Joe was hosting

an open house for the Italian car club on a Sunday, so Bounder photo guy Todd Langille and I headed out in the
pouring rain to check it out. The first thing that hit us was the
tremendous amount of colour. Every wall was covered in Italian signs, posters, toys, and motorcycles. I’m used to bikes that carry names
like Honda, Yamaha, Harley and Kawasaki. But looking at the nametags on these bikes was like discovering another world. I had never heard of bikes with names like Gabbiano, Beta, Mi Val, and Capriolo, to name a few. I recognized the names Moto Guzzi, Ducati, and of course Vespa; most of these bikes were from the 50s and 60s. There’s a total of 41 vintage
