His boathouse/barn was filled with some of the most beautiful functioning period pieces one could imagine and, stuck amongst the boat relics were a 1946 Ford three-quarter ton pick-up and a 1950 Ford Wagon with various parts jammed into the body, through the windows, and lying around.
