negotiate a price to buy them. Some of the others came from Michael Harper-Smith’s collection in Tarzana, California. When I asked Joe about collecting bikes as opposed


to adding to his Italian car collection (which he has done since my last visit) he joked that bikes don’t take up as much room as cars, so he can collect more. He also mentioned that he


had purchased a collection of vintage Italian bicycles that would be arriving shortly. What does he see with


his collection in the future? He says someday he would like to open a museum in little Italy, where his vintage collection can be enjoyed by everyone. Well, Joe... thanks for


the tour and the barbecued Italian sausages. They were excellent.
