Range extensions include an Ice Cream Van playset for the Theme Park range, a Jumbo Jet for the Muddy Puddles range, new plush and a Weebles line. The new plush Ani Mei Chatterbox Peppa’s mouth lights up in four different expressions in time with authentic phrases, and her eyes, heart and cheeks light up. Complementing Character’s classic Peppa Pig collec tion,
the Weebles are back in a Peppa Pig format for children aged 18 months plus. The new offering has collectability with the Weebles fi gures and the hero line is Peppa Pig Weebles Wind and Wobble Playhouse, which won the award of Best New Pre-school Character Toy at this year’s Toy Fair. The Playhouse features a slide, staircase, swing and roundabout. Brand new for Character’s pre-school range this year is Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom.
The Thistle Castle Playset features a moving throne and cauldron. The Magical Playground Playsets allow children to collect two outdoor scenes. Extended products in Character’s Postman Pat collection will complement the launch of the
fi rst Postman Pat fi lm in 2014. Showbiz Pat comes dressed in a sparkly outfi t with microphone and sunglasses, and dances to three musical tunes when his hand is pressed. The new series for Character’s Fireman Sam collection expands with the Ocean Rescue theme, which features a Fireman’s pole, lift, helipad, viewing platform, and other accessories. The vehicle range has an ocean-themed addition with the new Titan rescue boat.

Peppa Pig’s 10th anniversary year sees the launch of the hugely successful Weebles, along with other range extensions to celebrate ‘10 years of Jumping in Muddy Puddles’. One of my personal favourites is the Chatterbox Peppa that uses new light-up technology that synchronises with her speech, bringing the product to life.
