2012. Attractive Caucasian rug, from the village of Khanlyg, Kubatly district, Azerbaijan, late 19th/early 20th century, 7ft. 1in. x 4ft. 11in. 2.16m. x 1.50m. 2011. Shirvan rug, south east Caucasus, early 20th century, 5ft. 2in. x 3ft. 6in. 1.58m. x 1.07m. Note the ivory field with a single row of Lesghi stars surrounded by many small animals and birds, and the carnation inner guard. Overall even wear. £150-250

2013. Interesting Genje long rug, south Caucasus, late 19th century, dated 1897 (AD) 9ft. 1in. x 3ft. 11in. 2.77m. x 1.20m. Note the overall stylized floral trellis design; also the ivory main border which has spaced rosettes similar to those found on Talish rugs. Note also the date woven in various forms in the top left corner of the main border. Overall even wear; small reweaves. £400-600
