WORLD NEWS AstralPool Launches Online Pool Configurator
AstralPool has put a pool configurator on its website (
www.astralpool.com) that enables over 15,000 different combinations to be selected. Without the need to introduce data, the configurator makes it possible to try out all kinds of combinations before purchasing a new pool or doing up an old one. Using three types of pool (URBAN, ZEN and WOODEN) as a base model, users can create a fully equipped pool to suit their needs and tastes by just following 12 simple steps. AstralPool’s pool configu rator has been designed to be a functional and easy-to-use tool. To achieve this, 3D illustrations with the quality of
photographs, intuitive browsing menus and the option to display a front or overhead view throughout the process have been used.
In terms of content, it allows users to obtain further information about the various options proposed, it has direct links to the AstralPool Product Database (which includes detailed information about all products) and, in line with AstralPool’s philosophy of the sustainable pool, it includes information about the savings in energy and/or water that the various solutions can make.
Omnia - Revolutionising The Pool Industry In Spain And The EEC
Omnia Pools was launched just four months ago as a young start-up offering a new distribution method for swimming pool products based on three simple ideas and breaking with the traditional distribution policies followed in the market:
The pool sector is particularly diverse and covers many different product lines such as water pumps, chemicals, construction elements, outdoor furniture and so on.
Omnia brings together all these categories into a single multi-brand joint catalogue that includes more than 20 different product lines, each supplied by a specialist manufacturer.
The catalogue is marketed through a single commercial network shared by all members in order to reduce costs and reach all market targets and channels. To deliver the orders received, Omnia uses multiple logistic distribution methods adapted to the character istics of each manufacturer and product. The sector’s response to the initiative has been exceptional the project has already been able to attract nine of the major manufacturers, including Procopi, one of France’s leading manufacturers (in turn the most important market in Europe) and Quimidroga – a leader in the field of chemical distribution. The list of project members also includes international industry experts such as Hasa Pumps, Laineblock, Pavistamp, Solar-Ripp, Spa King, TecnicCat and Waterbike.
As a result, Omnia has already been able to compile an exceptionally varied catalogue which offers excellent value for money since all products come directly from manufacturers. Despite the early success, the aim of the company is to continue indefinitely incorporating new companies that provide innovative and valuable products to the market.
The project, with the different manufacturers, was presented to the public at the Piscina Barcelona but marketing will not be launched until January 2014 due to the seasonality of the sector.
