Luxury Spa Elegance In The Centre Of London
The Wellbeing Centre at luxury hotel Café Royal in central London will soonopen its doors for hotel guests and private members and Netherlands based Spa & Wellness specialist 4SeasonsSpa has been pleased to work on this landmark project together with David Chipperfield Architects.
Café Royal’s 1,200 m2 Wellbeing
Centre provides a personal and intimate holistic experience. It has four different areas, corresponding to the four natural elements: spa/water, gym/fire, yoga/air and organic bar/earth. The outstanding design of the
Wellbeing Centre captures the mood and style of Café Royal as one of the historic landmarks in London. This casual elegant design is the work of David Chipperfield Architects (DCA) and is striking in the bold simplicity of its concept and is true to the glamorous spirit of its heritage. The designs were transformed into actual spa and wellness equipment by (and based on the knowledge, expertise and technology of) 4SeasonsSpa. “The striking designs of DCA combined with our expertise in engineering and materialisation has turned out to be the perfect match. Many challenges had to be
overcome in order to achieve the vision of the architects. The apparent simplicity and elegancy of what one can see now in the Wellbeing centre is the best compliment of all,” said Willem-Jan Kuipers, CEO of 4SeasonsSpa.
