Luxury Spa’s Rhassoul Gets The HygroMatik Treatment HygroMatik’s CompactLine, C10 CDS steam generator and HygroMatik essence pump have been installed at the new luxury spa at Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa, Wirrall.

The project, by wellness specialists Rigo Spa, incorporates a fully automated Rhassoul and Ante Room with heated benching, bespoke basin and four luxury showers. Visitors are presented with a selection of nourishing mineral muds to smooth onto the body and face before sitting in the warmth of the Rhassoul. The HygroMatik CompactLine steam generator and essence pump ensures the room is infused with natural steam and relaxing aromas which help soothe tense muscles and open the pores allowing the enriched muds to condition the body. Rigo Spa specified a HygroMatik CompactLine C10CDS Steam Generator with SuperFlush and a HygroMatik essence pump. A Rigo Spa control system automates the entire process by activating the HygroMatik steam generator part way through a programme cycle. Richard Gowland, Rigo Spa Director comments: “Generator’s from HygroMatik deliver a dense natural steam. They are very versatile as their own integrated controls are often all that is required for steam room installations, these can then be easily

controlled by our external control panels for automated projects such as this.” “We use a range of steam generator’s from HygroMatik for projects worldwide, due to the high quality performance in spa’s. Their products can be interlinked to enable several generators to talk to a central control in larger commercial applications. At the beginning of 2013 we completed a project in which we networked 15 HygroMatik Steam Generators together in one commercial project,” explains Richard Gowland.

SuperFlush dramatically reduces servicing requirements. It creates additional turbulence in the maintainable steam cylinder, breaking down scale and increasing the amount of scale being drained

thus reducing the need for descaling. A heavy duty

blow-down pump is activated during partial drain-downs, and this removes a large proportion of scale deposits, doubling or tripling the life of the cylinder.

Compass Ceramic Pools UK stopped traffic in August – quite literally – with its first delivery of stock pools into t he UK. The Gatwick-based company, which is sole UK distributor for Compass Ceramic Pools’ unique offering of carbon-fibre and ceramic one-piece pools, launched its trade offering with the consignment of ten pools in to their West Sussex warehouse.

Alex Kemsley, Compass Ceramic Pool UK’s Managing Director said: “We are launching to the trade in the UK and are actively seeking dealers outside of the counties of Surrey, East and West Sussex and Kent, where we already have representation. As part of that commitment to the trade we are holding in UK stock a quantity of

Trade Launch Of Unique One-piece Pools Stops Traffic! the most popular pool models in the most popular colours. One of

our great selling points is the speed with which our pools can be installed compared with conventional methods of construction. If a consumer opts for a pool in UK stock and the dealer times the excavation and delivery right, their consumer can go from shaking on the deal to swimming in their finished pool in seven days. A finished pool which has a feel and a finish like a gunite pool rather than the look of an ordinary fibre-glass one- piece product.”

Other benefits that new Compass Ceramic Pools UK dealers can expect are a unique carbon-fibre and ceramic product with no comparable competitors in the UK, highly attractive margins, and a dealer support package which includes high quality sales and merchandising materials, and a national marketing and promotional campaign with leads generated and passed on to the local

dealer. One new dealer already signed up is XL Pools in Kent, who took delivery of the first of the stock pools.

The stock consignment load crossed the Channel on an outsized low loader. Taking up two lanes of a standard roadway, it then had to be accompanied by escort vehicles from the port. On the final leg of its journey through the roadworks on the A23 south of Gatwick, the convoy momentarily brought traffic to a standstill whilst it was joined by additional escort vehicles from the contractors to help it negotiate its way slowly and safely through the two temporary narrow lanes.
