NORFOLK NURSERY
Welcome to the wonderful Norfolk House Nursery, which is located on Caerau Crescent, Newport.
This spectacular nursery first opened its doors to the general public back in 1989. Current owner, Yatin Mianger, took
over the business five years ago, with a clear vision of how he wanted it to progress. During the past five years Yatin has
made major improvements to this popu- lar and much-loved nursery, making it one of the largest daycare nurseries for miles around, with fun and learning being the heart and soul of the entire nursery. Voice was very lucky to have a special
tour of the premises; two beautiful three- storey Victorian houses, with long-serving manageress Julia, who has been with the nursery since 1991. As Julia showed Voice each fun,
bright, interactive and visually stimulat- ing room, filled with happy children and attentive care workers she said: “Our promise is simply to provide the highest standards, with the aim of being a home away from home for your child. “In the absence of their parents we

strive to provide a safe, happy and loving environment where the children learn through interaction and play. “Each and every one of our staff
members is a highly trained professional who has been with us for many years, giving each child a sense of family and consistency, which helps them feel more comfortable and at ease. “I myself have been here for more than
20 years and watched many children grow up to be happy and confident young people. “In fact, we’re now seeing children who
were cared for here bringing their own children here. “There’s no greater feeling in the world
to see a happy child’s smiling face, my job is very rewarding and watching the chil- dren play, learn and grow is amazing.” From 11am until 2.30pm on Saturday,
September 21, the great team at Norfolk house will be holding a fun day at the nursery to raise money for MacMillan cancer support. Last year pre-school carer Julie raised £150 and this year she’s hoping to raise a
whole lot more for the worthy charity. “We have a great day planned for all
the family to enjoy,” she added. “Activities include face painting, hook-
a-duck, hair braiding, refreshments and homemade cakes, plus many more stalls and fun fete-style events. “We hope that you’ll be able to show
your support for MacMillan Cancer Sup- port and join us on this very special day.” This is a great opportunity for new par-
ents to come along and visit the nursery, and see how dedicated the staff are, not only to their daily jobs as nursery carers but also helping others who desperately need it by raising money for charity. Yatin along with the long-serving staff
members and carers at Norfolk House look forward to meeting you very soon. Norfolk House Nursery is located at 9
Caerau Crescent, Newport, NP20 4HG, which is a short walk away from St Woo- los Hospital. FOR MORE INFORMATION CALL
