CMA’s Farmers Markets have been running since 1998 and have since


grown to fi ve markets around Cardiff each week. With a passion for fresh local produce for everyone they operate from Whitchurch on Wednesdays, Rhiwbina on Fridays, Roath on Saturdays and Riverside on


Sundays, as well as running a vintage street market on St. Mary Street in collaboration with Cardiff Council. The aim of these markets is for local residents to benefi t in terms of having access to affordable healthy food, as well as supporting local producers and businesses.


SUPPER TIME! O


n the eve of the Newport Food Festival, why not also go on a culinary and historical journey as part of the Newport Food Festival Supper which will be held in the upstairs of the beautiful Newport Market on Friday 4th October. We will be taking bookings


for this year’s supper from 10am, Thursday 22 August.


The supper will consist of a three course meal, created and prepared by Newport born Michelin star chef, Hywel Jones of Lucknam Park.


The menu for the evening is attached with most of the produce sourced from Newport Market. Please note, the dessert is a medley, devised by Hywel for the event.


To add some colour and fun to the evening, entertainment will be provided and compere Jools Constant will be talking to Hywel Jones, as well as soul/funk/disco band – Freeman Street and an acoustic set by Gareth Bonello, aka The Gentle Good. A bar will be available for drink orders with the evening coming to a close at 11pm. Please call the Riverfront Box
