Go-cart track a new attraction in the hills
While visiting Cypress Hills Park, entertain your inner child with a visit to Cypress Hills Speedway. The area's only go-cart track is where racers enjoy
zooming around an asphalt track with majestic views of the Cypress Hills as a backdrop.
The facility is located about 200 meters after the turnoff to Cypress Park.
A lineup of six single carts and six double carts pro- vide entertainment for adults and children. "There's six for double riders – for the little people – they can ride with their mom and dad so they can also enjoy the experience," says co-owner Chelsey Thomson.
The go-carts travel along a winding 610-foot long
track. There is a covered viewing area equipped with a snack bar and picnic tables.
Cypress Hills Speedway caters to individual go-cart
enthusiasts, groups, summer camps, reunions and birthday parties. The speedway opens for the season on the May long weekend, and during the summer months is open seven days a week. Go ahead, let loose behind the wheel of a go cart!

After a trip to the go-cart track, wind down with a round of golf at Cypress Hills Golf Course. Conveniently locat- ed in Cypress Park it has grass greens and cart rentals.
