REACH Huron facilities were built to advance the regional economy by proactive- ly supporting core industries- namely agriculture with a focus on the equine sector. As the backbone of the regional econo- my these industries support local quality of life. REACH Huron’s 35 acre, 65,000 square foot training and event facilities act as a “motel for education and recreation”, bringing over 30,000 people to date to the local area to study, compete, train and play. Commencing on March 1st, 2012, Mr. Mar- shall will guide the organization in continued pursuit of this mis- sion.

Speaking of his appoint- ment to Executive Director Mr. Marshall notes that he is “very excited to be a part of REACH Huron” and that he is “looking forward to working with the

community, local Council, Board Chair Larry Langan and the whole Board.” A strong believer in the power of partner- ships Jeff stated that “There’s a lot of work to be done but I know that with everyone work- ing together we can make REACH a great success.” Jeff Marshall grew up in the former Blanshard Township and gradu- ated from the University of Western Ontario. He’s worked for agri-business John Deere Canada and Alfa Laval Agri, as well as the Canadian Automo- bile Association. Most recently Jeff has been doing marketing and government relations con- sulting. He lives in Mitchell with his wife Rita and their sons.
