Did you know Sea Lion Aquatic Park has its own recreational swim team?
The Sea Lions compete in the West Suburban Conference with teams from Downers Grove, Glen Ellyn, Hinsdale, Lemont, Wheaton, Clarendon Hills, and Western Springs. The experienced coaching staff provides an atmosphere of sportsmanship and fun for both beginning and advanced swimmers. This program is primarily for children and young adults who have previously mastered swimming basics and are ready for a more competitive atmosphere. Registration opens early April.
Swimming Requirements: • Ages 8 & under - One length of pool (25 yards) • Ages 9-18 - Three lengths of pool (75 yards) • Working knowledge of freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, flip turns and diving
Practice Times are Mon. - Fri.: 13-18 years 6:45-8am 11-12 9-10
8-9am 8:45-9:45am 8 and under 9:30-10:15am
Meets are held weekly on Tue./Thu. evenings and/or Sat. mornings.
