Come Fly Away Bank of America Theatre Come Fly Awayis the new Broadway musical that brings to- gether the legendary music of Frank Sinatra and the creative vision of Tony Award winner Twyla Tharp. This one-of-a-kind experience combines the seductive vocals of Frank Sinatra with the sizzling sound of a live on-stage big band and the visceral thrill of Tharp’s choreography. As 15 of the world’s best dancers tell the story of four couples falling in and out of love, you will experience the exhilaration of a first kiss, the excitement of a first dance, and the bittersweet moments of a first good-bye in a world of sparkling romance and aston- ishing beauty. Come Fly Away features a score of beloved Sinatra classics, including “Fly Me to the Moon,” “My Way,” “New York, New York,” “Witchcraft” and many more. The New York Times opined it was “A sleek, energizing mixture of Sina- tra’s inimitable cool and Ms. Tharp’s kinetic heat…” Fee in- cludes transportation and main floor ticket. The Magic Flute Lyric Opera, Chicago Look out for dancing bears and dinosaurs as into the en- chanted forest we go! Lyric’s inspired production reflects Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart himself – seamlessly blending emotional profundity with slapstick humor that appeals to the kid in us all. With a hapless and endearing birdcatcher as his sidekick, Prince Tamino is searching for the girl of his dreams. The mysterious Queen of the Night says her daughter’s the one – and just waiting to be rescued from the evil wizard, Sarastro. But it turns out he’s not the evil one at all! A young couple’s journey to adulthood, the search for universal truths, Masonic rituals and religious allegory – “The Magic Flute” gives us much to ponder, and music that’s a wondrous joy! Performance is in German with projected English subtitles. Prior to the performance, we will dine at The Tower Club, a private club located on the 39th floor in the building next to the Opera house. The building was designed by Sam Insall, and the Tower Club is in what used to be his private residence. You will have your choice of entree salad, sandwich or pasta, served with beverage and dessert. Fee includes transporta- tion, opera main floor seating, and lunch.

History of America
Metropolis Theatre & LaTasca, Arlington Heights The History of America (Abridged)is a roller coaster ride of a play that hilariously takes the audience through the entire course of American history – with brilliant comedic genius. Starting with the birth of Bob Dole sometime before Christ, up to the assassination of JFK by Lucy Ricardo, this comedy takes you on an adventure of comedic sketches, songs and parodies through 500 years of American history at staggering, breakneck speed – all driven by mayhem and laughter. At the end of the show, you’ll be wishing that American history was even longer. After the performance we’re in for a real treat at La Tasca, a fabulous tapas restaurant. Tapas refers to a style of dining that originated in the open-air taverns of Spain. Diners sampled small portions of dishes as they traveled from tavern to tavern. Our meal will consist of three cold tapas, four hot tapas, dessert and beverage in this delightfully dec- orated restaurant. The atmosphere just may cause you to splurge on a delicious glass of sangria (although that isn’t in- cluded in the fee!).
