Early Childhood Programs
Kindergarten Club Bring a lunch and dress for fun! This program will provide activ- ities for your AM Kindergartner from the time they get out of school until 6pm. Children will be transported from Schiesher School to the Recreation Center following dismissal. Transporta- tion will be provided on a school bus by school district 202 (only) over to the park district where our staff will provide afternoon activities including: free play time, games, arts and crafts, motor room and outside play from 11:30am-3pm. At 3pm the Kinder- gartners will be transported by van back to Schiesher School by the park district staff, where they will spend the remainder of the afternoon with the After School program. No class: 1/16, 2/3, 2/20, 3/2, 3/5, 3/26-3/30, 4/6, 5/18 and 5/28.

Payment Schedule: You have the flexibility to sign up for whichever days you need. Upon registration, you can elect to pay for a single day, a whole week, month or semester. You can select as many days per week as you need! Your child must be signed up in advance for days attending. Deadline is the Wednesday of the previous week. There is no transferring of days. Refunds will not be issued for cancelled days. There will be a $10 fee for late payments.
Kids Day Out Have a fun-filled afternoon at the Recreation Center. Bring a lunch and join your friends for an afternoon filled with semi-structured activities, free play time, motor room time, crafts, games, stories and playing outside. The Kids Day Out program operates from 11:30-3pm. The program will follow school district 202’s calendar. Please see the After- noon Adventure programs that will be held when there is Preschool, but the school district has a day off. Additional fees and registration are necessary for these programs. All participants must choose which days they will be at- tending and must be toilet trained. No class: 1/16, 2/3, 2/20, 3/2, 3/26-3/30, 4/6 and 5/18. Age: 3 - 6

Afternoon Adventures
These programs are held during days when there is Pre- school, but the school district and Kids Day Out have a day off. Pack a lunch and come join in the fun. Participants must be 3 by September 1, 2011 and toilet trained.
Goundhogs, Shadows and More... Come learn about groundhogs, how shadows are made and why we celebrate this fun holiday. Bring a lunch and a flashlight. Age: 3 - 6

Little Gardener
Come explore the world down under-ground that is. Take a closer look at soil, flowering plants and how plants grow. We will plant a flower and make a yummy dirt cup snack. Bring a lunch and dress for an outdoor nature walk. Age: 3 - 6

Gym Jammin’ Sport Fest Enjoy a morning of Gym Jammin’ fun. Children will enjoy racing, swinging, jumping and rolling through various games and activities in the gym. Participation awards and a drink will be provided at the end of the class. Age: 3 - 5
