Recreation Center - Now Open! 1925 Ohio Street, Lisle | 630-964-3410


The new Recreation Center at 1925 Ohio Street in Lisle, just west of the existing Community Center, now houses the ad- ministrative offices, Gentle Learning Preschool, and senior center. This 40,000 square foot facility includes just over 20,000 square feet of newly renovated space, including: a large waiting room, several multipurpose rooms, conference rooms, with secured access to six preschool classrooms, and many eco-friendly features.


Improved Preschool Classrooms! Gentle Learning Preschool has a separate entrance with se- cure access to the early childhood wing. Each classroom has their own child-sized sink and restroom and the teachers have a designated workroom/office which adjoins the class- rooms. There is also an indoor motor room for children to play (see page 9 for details) with an outdoor play area planned for the spring of 2012.


New Senior Center! The 50+ Adult Programming group has moved to the east side of the Recreation Center, with a separate entrance and convenient parking. Now there is even more space for bingo, card games, crafts, and presentations. To view upcoming senior events, trips, and programs see page 40.

purpose Room for your next meeting or party! The new multipurpose room at the Recreation Center is available for meetings and gatherings both small and large with retractable wall to divide the room. This space is also equipped with projection screens, Wi-Fi and in-room sinks. There is also a full kitchen available for rental.
