Digital Photography For Beginners Lisle resident and free lance photographer Kirk Lawler will be on hand for this two hour introduction to the world of digital photography. ‘How to’ topics will include choosing the best scene modes, basic composition, taking great people pictures, special tips for photographing children and photo editing with Adobe Elements. No previous experience with cameras is re- quired to enjoy this workshop. Most participants use compact cameras, but entry level dSLR owners will also benefit from the discussions. 27th Annual Road Rally Looking for adventure? Then you are sure to enjoy the challenge of the 27th Annual Road Rally. Grab your neighbors and friends to create a team of six adults per vehicle. You are given a map and bag of clues; you’ll need teamwork, logic and luck to stay on track. Some clues are helpful while others are designed to throw you off course. This exciting, and somewhat physically challenging four-hour scavenger hunt on wheels will test your mind, body and teamwork, so put on your thinking caps and start your engines! At the completion of the rally, teams meet for an awards presentation and socialize at a pizza dinner. This fun-filled event is coordinated with the Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, Naperville and Woodridge Park Districts. Space is limited. Captain’s letters will be mailed the second week of April.
