Youth Soccer Spring League Join Lisle’s most popular co-ed Soccer League! This program emphasizes participation, fun, recre- ation and sportsmanship.


All children receive


ample playing opportunities in this recreational en- vironment. Games are played on Saturdays with one or two weeknight practices per week. Team shirts and individual awards are included in the registration fee. (7 weeks) Note: Shin guards are mandatory equipment.


Meet the Staff Samantha Pietrucha, PR &


Graphic Design Coordinator Samantha started in August 2011 as the PR & Graphic Design Coordinator for the Lisle Park District. She received her Bachelor de- gree at Millikin University in 2005 then, con- tinued her education in Interactive Media Design at the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago. She knew years ago that she had a passion for graphic design and maintains a strong desire to share her creativeness with others. She has been working in the graphic design field since her college years and has contin- ued to stay in the creative field ever since. Her work duties involve conceptualizing and designing advertising materials for all park district departments, Wheatstack, River Bend Golf Course, Gentle Learning Pre- school, Museums at Lisle Station Park, and the Senior Center. These design materials in- clude: logos, posters, flyers, ads, brochures, direct mail pieces, postcards, coupons, cer- tificates, business cards, letterhead, ban- ners, signage, etc. She is also responsible for taking program/event photography, as- sisting with special events, and website de- sign. She just designed the Gentle Learning Preschool Website, check it out at www.Gen- tleLearningPreschool.org. She describes her- self as an adventure seeker, loves being outdoors, and traveling. She is devoted to staying active by doing boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts. She also involves herself in seasonal races and every once in a while a half marathon. If you have yet to meet her, she is very sarcastic and is always looking for the next laugh.

Children should be put into the grade level they are presently in. Coaches meeting: Tue., Mar. 20 at 7pm, Recreation Center.


*To encourage early registration, minimize administrative costs, and provide the best possible league organization, all participants accepted after February 25 will be charged a $15 late registration fee. Any participants who register after March 10 will be placed on a wait list. Placement on the wait list doesn’t guarantee a spot on team.


Soccer Shooting Stars Your child will have fun and learn the game of soccer in this popular class. Your child will learn the basic fundamental skills and play functional scrim- mage games in this fun and educational class that is geared toward prepar- ing children for league play.
