ACT Practice Test A practice test is crucial to ward off those test day jitters and to predict how you may score on the ‘real thing.’ Don’t be sur- prised!! Come and experience first-hand what Test Day will be like. A representative from Kaplan will provide a proctored ACT practice test and results will be returned to each student with analyzed results. Participants are encouraged to bring a healthy snack and drink, #2 pencils and a calculator. Wear comfortable clothing. Cell phones will not be allowed. Seats are limited! Sign up today! Babysitting Skills for Success Learn the characteristics of successful babysitting while taking part in discussion and role-playing activities.


This class will


cover skills such as how to properly handle accidents and emergencies while providing basic first aid care, child devel- opment, diapering, feeding and playing with children. CPR is covered although students will not be ‘certified.’ Student hand- book and reference materials are included. Students receive a certificate after completing the eight hour class. Job Interview Training and Tips An interactive program presenting basic job interview skills. Topics include: Interviews do’s and don’t’s, first impressions, proper dress, attitude, body language, meeting and greeting others, handshakes, eye contact and questions to be prepared to answer and ask. The interview process will be discussed in three distinct parts: pre-interview, actual interview and post interview. Class objective is to assist young people in being confident and successful in interview situations. Note: This program meets at Woodridge Park District, 2600 Center Dr. Age: 13 - 17
