Meet the Staff

Joe Czerwinski, Parks Specialist Joe is one of Lisle Park District’s four Parks Specialists and is responsible for 10 parks, including College, Woodglenn, and Timber Park and Surrey Ridge Athletic Complex. On any given day you may see Joe working in one of his parks or helping out coworkers with special events or large-scale tasks. He has been a full-time member of the Parks Department for over four years and also worked seasonally at River Bend Golf Club. As a Lisle resident, Joe takes pride in being responsible for the upkeep of some of Lisle’s great open spaces. When he is not busy maintaining his many parks, Joe enjoys travelling, listen- ing to music like The Black Keys, playing with his dog Rosie, and being “Unkin’ Joe” to his one niece and four nephews. If you see him out in the parks and would like to learn something about Thomas the Train, Joe is your guy!
