he Maltsters Arms is situated on the stunning Bow Creek in an idyllic spot. With a fantastic atmosphere, a splendid selection of real ales, fine wine and local cider and a delicious new menu, it really is the perfect spot to while away an afternoon by the water, be it with family, friends or dog.

There are many new and imaginative dishes on the menu, created with fresh, seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients including River Teign moules frites, Bigbury Bay oysters, Occombe Farm beef and local catch of the day.
Previously owned by the flamboyant, celebrity chef Keith Floyd you can still see many of his quirky touches around both the pub and the bed & breakfast. New owner George Welsh is continuing along the same vein. George, originally from Salisbury and from a brewing background, took the helm in June this year. Already fully immersed in and loving Tuckenhay life, he is ready to bring a new energy to this lively, popular pub.
