Peter: I’m interested to know what kind of music you listen to?
Trevor: Well I grew up
listening to 2 Pac, Biggie Mobb Deep, Eminem, Nas, Krs1, Snoop Dogg, Mc lyte London posse, Cookie Crew, Dr Dre, Soul 2 Soul, Micheal Jackson plus much more, Now I listen to DnB and Garage, Hip Hop, RnB, Funky, Grime, Reggae, Bashment even a little bit of Dubstep.
Peter: So who in particular are you feeling right about now? Trevor: Well right about now I’m feeling my artist that I’m working with and for Young O.
He’s about to do alot. His single “Never Back Down” ft. Jammin, Wizz, Ozzie B, Lefty Ldn, Roachee will be released soon, so go check dat out ASAP!
Peter: Anyone else? Trevor: Maxta, Giggs, G-Fresh and the whole FrSH Ent, Dizzie Crazy Titch, Marvell Crew, Chipmunk, P Money, Young Money, Rick Ro$$, Black eyed Peas, Magnetic Men... couple others.
Peter: Some people seem to think that Black History Month may no longer be relevant any- more. What do you think? Trevor: I think that it definitely is relevant and should not be thought of as some holi- day season. Black kids really need to know that its a time to celebrate the fact that people like James Brown, Roy Ayers and Mc Hammer, Mohammed Ali where able to overcome the struggle and be successful at the work they did living in what could then be described as a white man’s world. Nowadays we live in a colourful world full of opportunities for success.
