Fashion Diversity Diversity at London Fashion Week.
Now in it’s third year, Fashion Diversity, organised Mahogany Model Management and Untold Design CIC, kicked off it’s 3 day event on Thursday 16th September with a VIP Gala awards evening.
It was held at its exciting new venue The Islington Metal Works which was the perfect setting for viewing the latest designs from designers such as Mong Hsuan Jiang, Nia’s World, Arif Khan, AAMAA Couture, Blaq by Sacha James and Chichi London as well as a short award ceremony.
This evening was hosted by Jordine Bartlett, who was beautifully turned out and helped the evening flow brilliantly.
With the evening kicking off with the beautiful creations by Monh Hsuan Jiang, this was a memorable collection, com- plimenting the femininity and shape of the models to perfection, the clean colour

palette of mainly white and black were a perfect choice to emphasis the cut of the clothes. With African print being a theme with more than one designer the pattern whilst beautiful were very overpovering on some lines but mostly very well cutt. With all of the designers showcasing the endless variety in cuts, the creativity and talent of these designers was evident.
Following the show 3 respected designers Jolaby, Patrick Kevin and Adebayo Jones where presented with awards to celebrate their success within the industry over the years.

Patrick Kevin stood out with his wearable urban wear for both males and females, incorporating harem style
trousers with integrated dungaree style flap for both sexes, both looked very stylish and current. Adebayo Jones was striking with her clashing, which actually worked! Slipping in some
exquisite detailing with a nod to the
Victorian era, staple classic items revamped with a twist. Also
featuring gorgeously elegant floor length dresses with amazingly subtle yet intricate
