www “I make thousands, dream of millio Q Dizzy Business In Mind...

Approaching this Islington recording studio that has helped to hone the creative talents of the likes of Whitney Houston, Tinchy Stryder and most recently JLS, I am unsure what to expect. As Kix started as a tool to celebrate and promote positive movements, I just felt the need to highlight the gentleman we are here to meet. After being nominated for a Local Hero award in the borough of Croydon for his work with young people under his recording label GhettoSuper- stars, he needed to be featured as a message to many that 1) a leopard can change their spots and 2) not all young black men are the same. Q Dizzy as he goes by has a wonderfully calm and courteous nature about him amongst the entourage that were in the studio. With a quiet respect for him they follow his instructions to pose for pictures and you feel that this is a place of homage to them that we have disturbed and after speaking with Q we can see why. Through his work with these young men and the other artists with the Ghetto super- stars, Q has earnt the respect

that they show him and this is obviously why he is successful at making such a positive impact on their lives. Openly talking about his time in prison, it is clear that this time was needed in his life. Using his time to gain 26 qualifications in a variety of fields and coming out more focused and with different goals in life, Q is trying to save these young people from having to learn that lesson the hard way and avoiding the pitfalls that lead to prison. This lifeline is extended through music and their opportunity to take their talents to the next level with focus and support, which is what Q is here for.

” I want to turn the lives of these kids around, so that they have a better future through music. “

Constantly mentioning his Ghetto Superstarz artists with a genuine love of what they do only emphasizes his passion for them to succeed and we are sure that with Q behind them it is only a matter of time.
