“When I’m Around You”. What or who gave you the inspiration for this catchy dance track? Desire: Well me and a young lady by the name of Tia sat down in my home studio and came up with this track, It was inspired by that feeling you get when your around someone sexy....
After my last interview in Kix Mag I was approached by Ripper Remixers Who remixed Usher’s last hit single O.M.G. They fussed the beat my vocals and Tia’s Vocals together on this track excellently which will be out soon.
Kix: Looking at your myspace you seem to do more than music ie. singer, songwriter, performer, model, actor, Ambassador for gun and knife crimes with a Foundation called
http://www.pagakc.com/ which stands for People Against Gun & Knife Crime. Tell us a lil about all these ventures your involved in! Desire: The streets are a serious place now a days youth are losing there lives over silly petty things and I for one want this to stop.
As I have been involved in my youth in some gang activity

and have lost close friends to these streets I have come up with a few key initiatives I believe will help the situation and give more opportunity to our youth improve our
communities and allow more of our youth to succeed... PAGAKC is a foundation it is not a charity we are not funded by the government but is self funded through my music fund raising events and donations. I have also been awarded a plaque by Mothers Against Guns (M.A.G and youth can shine) for my community work Awards where also given to Alexander the founder of the Stop campaign, Mamma make a change Chris, and many others that are doing a great service to our country.
Kix: When people try to hold you back, what gives you the drive to brush your shoulders off and move on? Desire: Mohammed Ali said it best “The winner of a fight is not who is strongest but the one with the most skill determination and will to succeed”

Kix: Do you have any bookings or PA’s anytime soon? Desire: Yep filmed a new music video Saturday 25th in leeds for one of the tracks of the mix cd. Also the night before I head line the launch of a new NBC TV series called “The Endz...” I will also be attending the Mobos but sadly not as a performer yet :( I also have a string of bookings from here to Ireland so join myspace twitter etc and keep up to date.
Kix: Since you last featured in kix mag how has your career developed? Desire: Well at look at my online statistics although I’m unsigned I’m already competing with Chipmunk and not a million
miles from Dizzee Rascal I average 500 To 800 new fans per day and 1000 plus plays per day... so as they say I will let the statistics do the talking :)
Kix: How do you get your Kix? Desire: Looking after my 3 kids in between performing and promoting myself.

Kix: Any last words of wisdom to your follwers, fans and anyone that want to get into the fields you cover? Desire: Never let anybody stop you from achieving your dreams but also never rely on anyone to make your dreams come true.... You must be prepared to do it all on your own :)
