LA’S HOTTEST EXPERIMENTAL ARTIST THA VILL TEAMS UP WITH DOUBLE MOBO WINNER KELE LE ROC TO PRODUCE THE BIGGEST TRANS-ATLANTIC INDEPENDENT DANCE SINGLE OF 2010
If talent was worth its weight in gold, then LA’s house music producer Tha Vill has the Midas touch. As part of the Kage Production unit, he’s already produced and written tracks for the who’s who of popular music The Saturdays, Akon, The Game, TQ, Flo Rida, Lindsay Lohan and Janet Leon.
Famed in the US for his nu-tek production style that has seen him tagged as “Mr Fiber Optic” by his huge international fanbase, Tha Vill’s latest track ‘More Than Friends’ features the UK songstress Kele Le Roc and is a straight banger. With a number of international collaborations in the pipeline, it’s no surprise he found a soul-mate in London’s Kele le Roc, well known for her own unique brand of live music. ‘More Than Friends’ as a club record has beaten Taio Cruz, Rhianna, Plan B and 50 Cent and has been taking over dancefloors and becoming a
favourite with club DJ’s across the UK.
He has recently hit over 9 million song plays on his myspace and has been consistently averaging 200,000 downloads for each independently released single to date.
Today, Tha VIll is the face of KTLA television’s entertainment shows and has been endorsed by the biggest slots on Fox TV, MTV Buzzin and VH1’s The Pick Up Artist and even had his single featured in a movie with Jenna Jameson. However life hasn’t always been this way for him.
Despite enduring tough times growing up in North Chicago, with the passing of his brother who took his own life due to deep depression, moving homes and dealing with domestic violence with his mothers partner, this MC / producer focused on the positive. His charity and community work to create awareness of these situations is close to his heard and is actively involved in spreading news.

He moved to Los Angeles to live his dream of fame, fast cars and music and has since carved out a niche for himself as a ‘go-to’ producer for a unique musical style. He is pushing new boundaries for electronic urban music, picking up from where Kanye, Black Eyed Peas & Flo Rida are currently at, and moving it up several gears.
He has just had a number 1 hit in Australia with Dan D, a single called ‘Keeps Me Coming’ plus his own mixtape ‘Approaching

Earth’ which has had 105,000 downloads in 10 days. With the single for the UK taking over, club land is seeing a new signature rap style by Tha Vill with an incredibly addictive pop melody with an electro thread in the production. P-Rida’s mix is a club favourite and gives the mix a slightly harder edge. Finally courtesy of DJ Mappa, a spe- cial Funky mix for the UK Funky massive.
Tha Vill is definelty here to stay and will be visiting the UK later this year.
