Ettlingen, Germany — Vision Components is introducing the intelli- gent camera series VC Base+, which reportedly extends the performance range of the proven VC Base line. Five new camera models that are available as black-and-white or color versions have a 700MHz processor, thus pro- viding more computing power for demanding applications. In addition to high-speed appli-
cations, VC Base+ cameras are espe- cially suited for tasks in industrial image processing, for traffic monitor- ing, 3D scans, motion surveillance, automotive applications, and barcode and OCR recognition. Depending on the model, they are based on various state-of-the-art CMOS sensors from renowned manufacturers. These sen- sors provide both high resolution and high frame rates, are very light-sen- sitive, and deliver an excellent image quality. The cameras have a global shut-
ter, a fast trigger mode, and a line scan mode that allows for frame rates up to 18kHz. With sizes between 1/3-in. and 1-in., the sensors provide resolutions between 752 x 480 and 2,048 x 2,048 pixels. All VC Base+ cameras are
equipped with 32MB Flash and SDRAM for program and data storage. An Ethernet interface and an optional

CyberOptics Automates Conformal Coating Inspection
We can provide what you need.
Minneapolis, MN — CyberOptics Corporation (NASDAQ: CYBE) is debuting its newest CX150i™ Conformal Coating Inspection System in the Kasion Automation Limited booth. The multi-award-winning SE600™ 3D SPI system is also being displayed at the show. The CX150i
inspection delivers precise verifica- tion of conformal coating application, reduces operator costs and elimi- nates visual inspection errors. The SE600 3D SPI system
delivers “true” volume measurement and with its state-of-the-art dual illumination sensor, it reportedly
RS232 interface enable integration into automation environments. Just like the VC Base series, the new VC Base+ models have a housing that measures 90 x 50 x 35mm.

automates inline conformal coating inspection process using a brand-new UV Strobed Inspection Module (SIM). Based on proven AOI technology, the system provides QA, consistency and speed (100cm2/sec). Designed with an 80Mp sensor, the AOI system offers white light illumination for component presence/ absence inspection and UV illumination for conformal coating inspection. Powered by AI2 (Autono - mous Image Interpretation) technolo- gy, the unit enables faster, simpler and smarter programming. Automated conformal coating
offers the best repeatability and reproducibility, even on the smallest paste deposits. The SPIv5 series soft- ware offers full touch screen capabil- ity and world-class user experience
for easy, flawless inspection. Contact: CyberOptics
