Natural Areas Coyote Club NEW ADVENTURES!


Coyote Club digs deep into nature! Explore the woods, prairies, and wetlands of Lyman Woods while learning new outdoor skills. Learn shelter building and construct a fort one week, practice animal tracking the next! Class will begin with an afterschool snack. Each session will explore different topics, so register for both! Dress for the weather and to get messy. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held indoors. No class November 26.

NEW! Trailblazers Adventure Club (TAC)


Unplug, unwind and get your weekend off to a wild start! Build self-reliance and confidence while connecting with the outdoors. Develop new outdoor skills like navigation, survival skills and tracking through physical and mental challenges and teamwork. Class will begin with a healthy afterschool snack. Each month features a new topic and challenge, so register for all four! Dress to be outdoors and get muddy and wet.

Wild Day Off


School’s out! Make tracks to Lyman Woods for a wild day off! We’ll spend our days off of school outdoors hiking and exploring the woods, searching for woodland wildlife, creating nature crafts, playing games and much more. Dress to go outside and get messy. Merit Badge Workshops


Need help earning your merit badges? Our Merit Badge Counselors will guide you through the badge requirements and you’ll learn everything you need to know to earn your badge using Lyman Woods as your study site. Please read your merit badge book before the program and bring it with you along with your blue card signed by your unit leader. Please dress to be outdoors, and bring a lunch, snacks, sunscreen and insect repellent.

Winter Camp


Don’t spend your winter break inside! Come to Lyman Woods for wild winter adventures! We will explore winter wildlife, winter weather, and do some winter tracking. Each day of camp will include fun crafts and games, outdoor adventures and a mid-camp snack. Each session of camp will focus on different themes and activities, so register for both!
